(PLA)

PLA is a kind of polylactide, often called Poly Lactic Acid derived from plants (such as corn).

PLA is a sustainable alternative to petrochemical-derived products. Especially it can be decomposed by microbes into carbon dioxide and water, no pollution. In the future decade, PLA will be used as a substitute for PET and PS, becoming the most promising polymer. PLA can be decomposed into CO2 and H2O in the short time, these substances will be converted into amylum. PLA is the recycled and green plastic material.
